After 11 minutes, Astor Lorencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costumbres Argentinas and the Larrechea players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Costumbres Argentinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Lorencio to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Romildo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Costumbres Argentinas 's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Jaunti came free, but Nicasio Martino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Romildo charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Romildo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44thth minute of the game Rogelio Maule who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Larrechea's Marciano Venceslao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lisandro Jaunti was the one to do the kick off. Lisandro Jaunti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicasio Martino came out and tried to block the shot, but Lisandro Jaunti slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Costumbres Argentinas 's goalkeeper Nicasio Martino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Jaunti. Nicasio Martino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Piarres, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
