River Plate booed when Lanteri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Eneto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Godofredo Darien notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lanteri's Florencio Eneas. Florencio Eneas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Abad was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Lanteri:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club A. River Plate:s goal. Florencio Eneas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Niyazi Yaşer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florencio Eneas. That made the score 5-0 in the 30 minute of play. Niyazi Yaşer took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Eneas. Florencio Eneas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Niyazi Yaşer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Eneas having to interfere. Niyazi Yaşer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score was 7-0 after a penalty in the 45th minute, where Club A. River Plate:s Carlos Castel tricked Lanteri:s Florencio Eneas with a difficult ball by the left post.

Florencio Eneas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Darien in the 54th minute of the match. Godofredo Darien scored 8-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florencio Eneas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Godofredo Darien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Lanteri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Eneto to maneuver through the defense. Niyazi Yaşer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Club A. River Plate's Niyazi Yaşer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florencio Eneas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0.
