River Plate booed when Clason AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomil Matuch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niyazi Yaşer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Lordi having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Clason AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Niyazi Yaşer came free, but Godfredo Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalo Goizeder hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radomil Matuch was the one to do the kick off. Clason AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Niyazi Yaşer 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. When Anselmo Cresitobalo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clason AFC's protests and gave Anselmo Cresitobalo a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Clason AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Cresitobalo. In the 80th minute, Anselmo Cresitobalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Godfredo Lordi managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Club A. River Plate's Niyazi Yaşer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Clason AFC's zone, Niyazi Yaşer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Lordi came out of the goal and Niyazi Yaşer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godofredo Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Lordi having to interfere.
