With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albano Ursueguia in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Gartzen saved Atletico Mercedes from getting behind. The supporters of Mab Team C.F. 1994 booed when Atletico Mercedes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Albano Ursueguia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seppe Van der Veekens short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Uriel Gartzen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Eliu in the 39th minute of play forced Mab Team C.F. 1994's goalkeeper Aurelio Porfirio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Behe charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mab Team C.F. 1994 had played much better football throughout.
