Paulino Olentzaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvan Kuhn in the 3rd minute of play. Emilio Vincente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Oeste's Paulino Olentzaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Oeste from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvan Kuhn in the 8th minute of play forced Deportivo Oeste's goalkeeper Paulino Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Lázaro Erlantz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Paulino Olentzaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Adolfo Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Deportivo Oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Gora came free, but Paulino Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo Oeste booed when Selva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Ixidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Fabian Benino hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Paulino Olentzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvan Kuhn in the 37th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Silvan Kuhn notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Deportivo Oeste's Paulino Olentzaro. Paulino Olentzaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulino Olentzaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Erlantz went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

After 50 minutes, Silvan Kuhn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selva and the Deportivo Oeste players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agustin Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Vincente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Lázaro Erlantz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Selva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The coaching staff of Deportivo Oeste protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabian Benino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 81st match minute, Deportivo Oeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Benino to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Aristides Ferran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Olentzaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
