The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute of the match, Filiberto Mirande tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cornelio Tomi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, MORENO's Cornelio Tomi got control of the ball when Alejandro Arias tried to sneak it across the goal line. MORENO's Melchor Toro got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute Melchor Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, MORENO's Saverio Benat got a free kick in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Filiberto Mirande recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornelio Tomi. Filiberto Mirande showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Cornelio Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Topolski in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Los Mismos De Siempre booed when MORENO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Filiberto Mirande reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cornelio Tomi. The goal made the score 2-1. Cornelio Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Rufio in the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, MORENO's Cornelio Tomi got control of the ball when Wojciech Topolski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wojciech Topolski to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wojciech Topolski in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Tomi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee ignored MORENO's protests and gave Saverio Benat a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Mismos De Siempre booed when MORENO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Benat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Rufio in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, MORENO's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Arias came free, but Cornelio Tomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Toro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Feliberto Pueblo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cornelio Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Topolski in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Wojciech Topolski notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of MORENO's Cornelio Tomi. Cornelio Tomi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cornelio Tomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Topolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Feliberto Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Toro in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the MORENO defense, Wojciech Topolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Tomi. The MORENO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Tomi should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Los Mismos De Siempre players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
