Hernan Gilabert struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Roberto Hernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ancasti FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Gilabert got free with Roberto Hernandez in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Isaias Raymond notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ancasti FC's Gogo Marquez. Gogo Marquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Hernan Gilabert got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 19 minutes, Emiliano Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancasti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Hug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaias Raymond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gogo Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Marquez came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sarmiento's Carlos Kimetz. But to his dismay, Carlos Kimetz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Marco Azubeli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gogo Marquez having to make a save. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ancasti FC's goalkeeper Gogo Marquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Ancasti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Ancasti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Kimetz came free, but Gogo Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Hernandez having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Isaias Raymond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gogo Marquez was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Emiliano Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Hernandez having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Kimetz to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ancasti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Kimetz came free, but Gogo Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Ancasti FC's goalkeeper Gogo Marquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Raymond. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Isaias Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Raymond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sarmiento booed when Ancasti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Loiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Emiliano Hug hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Isaias Raymond made a precise shot to the right of Gogo Marquez. Ancasti FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to Sarmiento getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Marco Azubeli hit a great ball. 71 minutes in the game, Emiliano Hug dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Carlos Kimetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Kimetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernan Gilabert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Emiliano Hug hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sarmiento's Carlos Kimetz in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ancasti FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 95th match minute, Ancasti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sarmiento had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
