The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Sansone got free with Jonas Pello in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Valery in the 36th minute of play forced Tratayén's goalkeeper Humberto Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabalero F.C's Jonas Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Distiratsu in the 41st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Tratayén's Jonas Pello threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Melquiades Laurin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
