Argentino Rosario's Gilberto Nazario got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascual Argider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Ignado, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Argentino Rosario's zone, Faustino Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Argider came out of the goal and Faustino Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandro Galego was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Pascual Argider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Ignado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caroya were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Argentino Rosario's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alonzo Tome took the corner. Caroya's Alonzo Tome was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pascual Argider in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sandro Galego struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Eustacio Felipillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentino Rosario. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Galego in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustacio Felipillo saved Caroya from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Saul Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caroya's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Neron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Argider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Gilberto Nazario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Severo Gar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pascual Argider. That made the score 0-2 in the 81 minute of play. In the 89th minute Saul Neron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Argider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Argider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Neron, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Sandro Galego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caroya's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
