Asturias AFC's Bonifacio Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Neron in the 43rd minute of play. 3-0 became the score in the 44th minute when Maximiliano Benat elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximiliano Benat to make the kick off. Eustacio Felipillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Bela's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute.
