After having played for 29 minutes, Gualterio Telo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atalanta B. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Telo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Froilan Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the game, Teo Erramu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chañarito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atalanta B. C. the free kick. After 35 played minutes Chañarito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Erramu. In the 39th minute of the match Adan Milian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Llorenc skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 43 in the game by Eloy Furtado from a close distance when the talented Petko Hristov managed to make a qualified save. Atalanta B. C.'s players were relieved.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Froilan Maule to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Froilan Maule kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victor Llorenc. That made the score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. In the 57th minute, Froilan Maule ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Llorenc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Chañarito AFC's Rene Gudesteo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Froilan Maule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Llorenc having to interfere. Wictor Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petko Hristov having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Wictor Lund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Llorenc. Chañarito AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wictor Lund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Atalanta B. C.'s Leif-Eric Behringer got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 84 played minutes Chañarito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Inautzi. After 87 played minutes Chañarito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Seguinus. The supporters of Atalanta B. C. booed when Chañarito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Chago didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Chañarito AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atalanta B. C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
