Melchor Tuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Ur in the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Eliazar got free with Melchor Tuste in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Los Duranga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bernardo Johans 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Franco in the 23rd minute of play forced Los Duranga's goalkeeper Melchor Tuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Los Duranga's goalkeeper Melchor Tuste had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Gentza. In the 36th minute, Club Atletico River Plate's Hugo Franco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melchor Tuste. Melchor Tuste yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Hernan Sadurni charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernan Sadurni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Melchor Tuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Eliazar in the 45th minute of the match. Melchor Tuste was a little too slow when Hugo Franco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Gentza made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Carmelo Jayvier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Ricardo Eliazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melchor Tuste was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Melchor Tuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Franco in the 58th minute of the match. Los Duranga's Melchor Tuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Eliazar in the 59th minute of play. If Jose Vito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Tuste came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico River Plate's Lino Gentza. But to his dismay, Lino Gentza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 66 minutes into the match, Los Duranga's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Lia came free, but Melchor Tuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Tuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Tuste came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico River Plate's Lino Gentza. But to his dismay, Lino Gentza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 75thth minute of the game Ricardo Eliazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Duranga's Melchor Tuste was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Conrado Godoy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Melchor Tuste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Club Atletico River Plate booed when Los Duranga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Sadurni didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Lino Gentza notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Los Duranga's Melchor Tuste. Melchor Tuste was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the match, Los Duranga's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Ur came free, but Melchor Tuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Atletico River Plate booed when Los Duranga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Noe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Eliazar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atletico River Plate had played much better football throughout.
