Emiliano Oxarra hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Paez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zheng Jun in the 10th minute. After 14 played minutes bostero got a freekick which was hit by Teo Inge. Raul Urtun was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 16 played minutes Mitre Atletic Club got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Austin. 21 minutes into the game, bostero's Antonio Montrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norberto Austin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 29th minute, Zheng Jun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Paez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Urtun got free with Reynaldo Paez in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Mitre Atletic Club's Raul Urtun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reynaldo Paez. That made the score 3-1 after 33 minutes of play. bostero's Reynaldo Paez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save bostero from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Mitre Atletic Club's Raul Urtun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zheng Jun to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the bostero defense, Zheng Jun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Paez. The bostero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Paez should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in bostero's zone, Baltasar Curcio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Paez came out of the goal and Baltasar Curcio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Paez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariusz Szatkowski's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Reynaldo Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Urtun in the 65th minute of play. Reynaldo Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7-1 became the score in the 67th minute when Zheng Jun elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Zheng Jun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Paez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Urtun in the 76th minute of play forced bostero's goalkeeper Reynaldo Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zheng Jun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reynaldo Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zheng Jun in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Zheng Jun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes bostero got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Ourente. Norberto Ieltxu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Edgard Obeko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mitre Atletic Club's Norberto Austin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Mitre Atletic Club from getting a goal against them. Mitre Atletic Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
