With an all-out effort, La rejunta FC's Bonifacio Petrigai threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rigoberto Inge, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rigoberto Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Sasuke AFC's Teobaldo Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amancio Bladi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Sasuke AFC's Marcial Ekhi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Bladi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bonifacio Petrigai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Sidoro in the 17th minute. Marcial Ekhi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Bladi having to make a save. When Anselmo Nel came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sasuke AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Nel couldn't finish the play. If Anselmo Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marcial Ekhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Bladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Teobaldo Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcial Ekhi to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Marcial Ekhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sasuke AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Ekhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Bladi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Marcial Ekhi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amancio Bladi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Teobaldo Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Bladi having to make a save. Arnaldo Baleren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Amancio Bladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Marcial Ekhi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sasuke AFC's Marcial Ekhi got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amancio Bladi was a little too slow when Teobaldo Santo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-4. Sasuke AFC's Marcial Ekhi got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 played minutes La rejunta FC got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Serafo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Baleren got free with Amancio Bladi in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcial Ekhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Teobaldo Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Bladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sasuke AFC played a much better game than La rejunta FC and deserved their victory. The La rejunta FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
