Saul Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Refugio having to interfere. In the 11th minute Aristides Emmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Boca Junior's zone, Aristides Emmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Refugio came out of the goal and Aristides Emmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Eduino kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Club Atlético Boca Junior:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cabalonga:s goal. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Cabalonga. Aristides Emmanuel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vicente Refugio. 0-1. If Aristides Emmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Aristides Emmanuel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Atlético Boca Junior's Vicente Refugio didn't even have to move. After having played for 36 minutes, Saul Giro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabalonga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Giro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Emmanuel in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Refugio saved Club Atlético Boca Junior from getting behind. Aristides Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute of the match Tomás Justin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Paulin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Aristides Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabalonga's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Emmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Refugio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Policarpio to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Cabalonga's Rodrigo Artaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Refugio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 55th play minute Rodrigo Artaldo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vicente Refugio. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Artaldo got free with Vicente Refugio in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the game, Saul Giro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabalonga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Boca Junior the free kick. In the 61st minute, Saul Giro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Emmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Vicente Refugio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Club Atlético Boca Junior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Eduino to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Boca Junior's Vicente Refugio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Boca Junior from getting a goal against them. Aristides Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Lucas Igon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Saul Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Refugio having to interfere. With his leg Vicente Refugio managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Cabalonga's Aristides Emmanuel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 84th minute, Saul Giro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Aristides Emmanuel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabalonga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Club Atlético Boca Junior's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Rodolfo Pirmin scored to the left of an out of position Vicente Refugio, making the score, 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Cabalonga left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atlético Boca Junior.
