The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Placido Regis was a little too slow when Segundo Ermano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Zoso's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Ermano came free, but Placido Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Eudoxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Santikurtz having to interfere. Zoso's Placido Regis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Zoso from getting a goal against them. Patrice Béthune sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Arturo Luix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26thth minute of the game Jesus Eudoxio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monsalvo AFC's Cayetano Santikurtz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacobo Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Cristobal Ladio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Placido Regis to make any attempt to save it. Zoso's Patrice Béthune got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Jesus Eudoxio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cayetano Santikurtz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesus Eudoxio made a kick off. When %teams%'s Jesus Eudoxio was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-3 just inside the left pole, 53 minutes into the game. Cayetano Santikurtz was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Jesus Eudoxio notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Monsalvo AFC's Cayetano Santikurtz. Cayetano Santikurtz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrice Béthune sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Cristobal Ladio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monsalvo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. Martin Winstanley was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Honorio Lia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Zoso getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gogo Gotzon hit a great ball. Jacobo Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zoso's Placido Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Shantala in the 99th minute of play. Zoso were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Monsalvo AFC's much stronger midfield.
