Ladislao Playo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Quintan in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cipriano Paio made a kick off. Ladislao Playo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Mincho, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Cruces y Flores's Ladislao Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Quintan in the 89th minute of play. If Ruperto Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, La pelota siempre al 10 could leave the field as winners, despite Cruces y Flores having more of the ball for most of the match.
