Corrales AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fermin Matei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tiburcio Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Matei in the 14th minute of the match. Tiburcio Vela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Matei in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Corrales AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Matei came free, but Tiburcio Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Rodolfo Jurgi made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Vela. Corrales AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mike Pagan to make the kick off. Tiburcio Vela was a little too slow when Fermin Matei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-7. Tiburcio Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Jurgi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 63rd minute, Tambillos's Rodolfo Jurgi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiburcio Vela. Tiburcio Vela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. Melchor Dalmu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-10 in the 74th playminute. 80 minutes into the match, Tambillos's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Pello came free, but Cesar Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Olayo having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Tambillos's Tiburcio Vela threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manuel Mannie, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rodolfo Jurgi took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Vela. Tiburcio Vela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-11. Rodolfo Jurgi took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Vela. Tiburcio Vela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-12. Tambillos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
