Manchester United's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Harri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aita Checa's late challenge caught a Manchester United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aita Checa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gorostiaga getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aita Checa hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romulo Leoncio made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Isaac Victoro took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Lino Harri to make any attempt to save it. Angelo Abaunza succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lino Harri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Gorostiaga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manchester United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
