El Demoledor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Joachim Lindqvist scored to the left of an out of position Desiderio Firmin, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joachim Lindqvist in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desiderio Firmin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joachim Lindqvist succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, El Demoledor's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Lindqvist came free, but Desiderio Firmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Leoni who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Desiderio Firmin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Saladillo AFC's Enzo Osoitz got a free kick in the 27th minute. Tiburcio Baraquiel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseo Gomez's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes, Eulalio Chuan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Demoledor and the Saladillo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, El Demoledor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Chuan to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Eulalio Chuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Baraquiel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Cristian Aballe charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Aballe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Saladillo AFC booed when El Demoledor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Aballe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, El Demoledor's goalkeeper Desiderio Firmin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Leoni. With his leg Desiderio Firmin managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Saladillo AFC's Thomas Leoni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Thomas Leoni came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Saladillo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Leoni couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joachim Lindqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honorato Santo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Desiderio Firmin. El Demoledor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69th minute, El Demoledor's Elvio Teofilio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elvio Teofilio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of El Demoledor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elvio Teofilio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 77 played minutes El Demoledor got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Nalo. Desiderio Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. El Demoledor's Desiderio Firmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Lindqvist in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Leoni in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 88th match minute, El Demoledor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Chuan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Saladillo AFC's zone, Eliseo Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Baraquiel came out of the goal and Eliseo Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saladillo AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
