With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Mikelar in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceferino Uhin saved Trinchera from getting behind. Ruperto Rosio hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Lázaro Mikelar came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Trebolares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Mikelar couldn't finish the play. Ceferino Uhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Leite in the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Trinchera defense, Lázaro Mikelar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceferino Uhin. The Trinchera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceferino Uhin should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
