Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wilfredo Gutxi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Gutxi in the 5th minute of play forced Huanqueros's goalkeeper Jacinto Jerico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Jerico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Gutxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Wilfredo Gutxi scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Jerico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hector Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Loreto having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Claudio Sergi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Augusto Loreto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaime Loi's late challenge caught a RosarioCentral's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Loi helped the player get up and apologised. Jaime Loi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match, Hector Hug got a very nice opportunity to score, but Augusto Loreto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Bartolo Eneas came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Huanqueros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Eneas couldn't finish the play. Hector Hug did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Augusto Loreto 48 minutes into the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Hug to make the kick off. Huanqueros's Gervasio Christobal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aldo Montxo in the 60 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in RosarioCentral's zone, Hector Hug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Loreto came out of the goal and Hector Hug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Loi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. The RosarioCentral supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RosarioCentral would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
