Unión's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Llope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute of the match Bernabe Steven shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremias Corderun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. C. D. Y C. Unión's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Leonard Wielowiejski scored to the left of an out of position Clodoveo Mattin, making the score, 1-0. Jeremias Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Steven in the 16th minute of play. C. D. Y C. Unión's Clodoveo Mattin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save C. D. Y C. Unión from getting a goal against them. Clodoveo Mattin came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by chacarita juniors's Saturnino Jeraldo. But to his dismay, Saturnino Jeraldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 29th minute of the game Feliberto Otsoko made a throw-in which Saturnino Jeraldo played forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonard Wielowiejski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clodoveo Mattin. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in chacarita juniors's zone, Daniel Majkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Corderun came out of the goal and Daniel Majkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st match minute, chacarita juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Arotza to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Clodoveo Mattin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to C. D. Y C. Unión getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rosendo Piarres hit a great ball. chacarita juniors made a substitution. 苏洋帆 replaced Rolando Fe. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Bernabe Steven made the kick off in the second half. 苏洋帆 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clodoveo Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Richie in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Feliberto Otsoko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clodoveo Mattin skillfully saved the ball. In the 60th match minute, C. D. Y C. Unión was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Llope to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Jeronimo Gorri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The chacarita juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jeronimo Gorri took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clodoveo Mattin. Clodoveo Mattin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 82 minutes into the game, chacarita juniors's Jeronimo Gorri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Mattin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Jeronimo Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Mattin having to interfere. After 97 minutes of play, chacarita juniors's Jeronimo Gorri made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clodoveo Mattin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. chacarita juniors had won after a very even match.
