When Miguel Dominic fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobos AFC's protests and gave Miguel Dominic a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Dominic hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Ostots took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clodoveo Mattin. Clodoveo Mattin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Angelino Orland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Orland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Orland in the 28th minute of play forced C. D. Y C. Unión's goalkeeper Clodoveo Mattin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelino Orland was the one to do the kick off. Clodoveo Mattin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Orland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Prospero Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Mattin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Mattin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Ostots in the 56th minute of the match. Angel Flor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Majkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Lobos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Txeru. In the 61st minute, Enzo Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C. D. Y C. Unión's Clodoveo Mattin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Ostots in the 63rd minute of play. Unión was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Llope to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Lobos AFC's Angelino Orland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Mattin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When Severino Hanot fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobos AFC's protests and gave Severino Hanot a yellow card for diving instead. Clodoveo Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Orland in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the C. D. Y C. Unión defense, Angelino Orland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clodoveo Mattin. The C. D. Y C. Unión fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clodoveo Mattin should have stopped the shot. Clodoveo Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Ostots in the 92nd minute of play. Clodoveo Mattin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Orland, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Prospero Txeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lobos AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while C. D. Y C. Unión had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
