An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Sagrario in the 14th minute of play forced Once Unidos's goalkeeper Victor Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Once Unidos's Nereo Iigo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Sagrario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Garaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Cordarell in the 20th minute of the match. Oscar Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Guaberto Sagrario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Garaona. Once Unidos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guaberto Sagrario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 33 minutes, Nereo Iigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Once Unidos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Iigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Cordarell took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Garaona. Victor Garaona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Once Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Sagrario came free, but Victor Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Rodriguez charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Rodriguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciudad de Bs As's Tobias Fidensio was substituted for Guaberto Sagrario. The supporters of Ciudad de Bs As booed when Once Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomil Kasperowicz missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 49 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Victor Garaona right hand side. After the first half Ciudad de Bs As were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Modestio made a kick off. Once Unidos's Victor Garaona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Once Unidos from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Lino Cordarell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciudad de Bs As fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Rodrigo Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Iigo in the 63rd minute of the match. Andres Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Balendin having to interfere. Nereo Iigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Fidensio in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Garaona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, Ciudad de Bs As was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Astrada to maneuver through the defense. Victor Garaona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Fidensio in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Lino Cordarell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobias Fidensio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Garaona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Ciudad de Bs As's Lino Cordarell made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Garaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Ciudad de Bs As left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Once Unidos.
