Spectators: 6630 (Terracing: 4998, Seating: 1632, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sergio Ferrer made the kick off which started today's match. When Abelardo Segio came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the CANAYABAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Segio couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SOC.ESPAÑOL's Serafino Abadia got a free kick in the 5th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of SOC.ESPAÑOL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CANAYABAM:s goal. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for CANAYABAM. Serafino Guifre stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mauro Banegas. 0-1. A collision led to SOC.ESPAÑOL getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Raul Cugat hit a great ball. Alejo Erroman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. SOC.ESPAÑOL's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 27th minute, Raul Cugat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luis Tadzio. The goal made the score 1-1. After 31 minutes, Diego Bingen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CANAYABAM and the SOC.ESPAÑOL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, CANAYABAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Bingen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SOC.ESPAÑOL's Claudio Ipar got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Abelardo Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Banegas having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, SOC.ESPAÑOL's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Segio came free, but Mauro Banegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Mauro Banegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Segio in the 52nd minute of the match. Serafino Guifre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SOC.ESPAÑOL's Mauro Banegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Garin in the 59th minute of play. After 63 played minutes, SOC.ESPAÑOL's Rosendo Perfecto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luis Tadzio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SOC.ESPAÑOL reached it. Fabian Garin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauro Banegas came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabian Garin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 68th minute. Mauro Banegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Garin in the 74th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in SOC.ESPAÑOL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Mauro Banegas went to the wrong direction when Serafino Guifre was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Mauro Banegas made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Abelardo Segio sent off a good shot on target. SOC.ESPAÑOL's Ricardo Munio got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute Fabian Garin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Banegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Segio took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Banegas. Mauro Banegas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. SOC.ESPAÑOL's Raul Cugat got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When SOC.ESPAÑOL's Ricardo Munio in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CANAYABAM's goalie prevented a goal. Serafino Guifre charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafino Guifre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, one of CANAYABAM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CANAYABAM.
