Fulvio Di Maio scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Banegas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Red Bull United fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Red Bull United's Fulvio Di Maio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergio Ferrer was the one to do the kick off. Modesto Paublo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Mauro Banegas made a huge save. 64 minutes into the game, Fulvio Di Maio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauro Banegas. Red Bull United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tito Henry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Cugat charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Cugat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 minutes of play, SOC.ESPAÑOL's Alejo Erroman made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Lertxun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serafino Abadia hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Tito Henry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Banegas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. Fulvio Di Maio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Mauro Banegas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Red Bull United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
