In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fanta Mecanica F.C.'s goalkeeper Fausto Sauveur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Tobias Mantzio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fanta Mecanica F.C.'s Fausto Sauveur. Fausto Sauveur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 31 minutes, Denis Brion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tambillo and the Fanta Mecanica F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fanta Mecanica F.C. booed when Tambillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Sauveur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Mantzio in the 33rd minute of the match. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Rosendo Papo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 35 minutes into the match. Fausto Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Papo in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Tobias Mantzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Sauveur. Fanta Mecanica F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Mantzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Mantzio to make the kick off. Tobias Mantzio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Teobaldo Astudillo made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Denis Brion immediately put the ball in play. 68 minutes into the game, Victorino Iyan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fausto Sauveur. Victorino Iyan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 74 minutes into the match, Fanta Mecanica F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Mantzio came free, but Fausto Sauveur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Emeterio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the game Rosendo Palban made a throw-in which Gaspar Mincho played forward. Fanta Mecanica F.C.'s Fausto Sauveur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Mantzio in the 88th minute of play. Tobias Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Mantzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fausto Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Brion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Sauveur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tambillo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
