The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Macerio during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Puerto Soledad got a freekick which was hit by Santos Macerio. Arnoldo Filipo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Santos Misael hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Puerto Soledad's Ivan Natanael tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rene Pepillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Egoi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Gaskon in the 30th minute of play forced Puerto Soledad's goalkeeper Igor Brument to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Luke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Puerto Soledad defense, Primitivo Xabat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Brument. The Puerto Soledad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Brument should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Puerto Soledad getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Santos Macerio hit a great ball. Igor Brument took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Primitivo Xabat was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Prospero Estevez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Puerto Soledad's Eliseo Rios got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Basureros Municipales Jr. defense, Ivan Natanael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anselmo Egoi. The Basureros Municipales Jr. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Egoi should have stopped the shot. Ivan Natanael kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ivan Natanael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Egoi having to interfere. Elpidio Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Igor Brument showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 86th minute, one of Puerto Soledad:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Puerto Soledad. Puerto Soledad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Primitivo Xabat scored to the left of an out of position Igor Brument, making the score, 1-2. 95 minutes into the match, Ivan Natanael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Egoi. Basureros Municipales Jr.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Natanael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
