Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Carabelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Berenguer came free, but Cristobal Baumer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Florentino Ticho managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plei's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Ticho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Baumer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 played minutes Carabelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Eleder. Cristobal Baumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Ticho in the 11th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Genaro Berenguer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Plei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Richie Halliwell put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of River Plei:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carabelas FC:s goal. It was a well-played corner which Adriana Itzaina managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Anier Nevada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Baumer having to interfere. After some careless play in the Carabelas FC defense, Arturo Errando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Baumer. The Carabelas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Baumer should have stopped the shot. When Florentino Ticho came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the River Plei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Ticho couldn't finish the play. Patricio Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Menendo in the 37th minute of play. Anier Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cristobal Baumer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Menendo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Abelardo Menendo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. In the 52nd match minute, River Plei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Bertran to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Toribio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zeledon Erauso struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Patricio Egoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carabelas FC. River Plei's Patricio Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Gervaso in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Felix Ur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabelas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Ur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute of the match Marciano Oskarbi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patricio Egoitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Patricio Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Erauso in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Claudio Gervaso notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of River Plei's Patricio Egoitz. Patricio Egoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patricio Egoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Erauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Genaro Berenguer kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Claudio Gervaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. River Plei's Patricio Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Gervaso in the 84th minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Zeledon Erauso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plei's Patricio Egoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. River Plei had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
