Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Pagomari to make the kick off. Eliseo Berriotxoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Telstar ™ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching River Plei's performance. The match ended with a win for River Plei.
