Spectators: 6991 (Terracing: 5345, Seating: 1639, VIP seats: 7) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Braulio Rubio made the kick off which started today's match. If Wilfredo Salbatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Bidun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Juan XXIII's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velez FC the free kick. Gonzalo Bidun kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Amado Innocenzio shot a long shot in the 6th minute and a light blocked Rafael Gelmiro hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. Braulio Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Nicholas having to interfere. Braulio Rubio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Natalio Nicholas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erasmo Dolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigoberto Cidro's late challenge caught a Velez FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Cidro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Rigoberto Cidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Juan XXIII's zone, Ambrosio Iratxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Gelmiro came out of the goal and Ambrosio Iratxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Nemesio Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Cidro got free with Natalio Nicholas in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natalio Nicholas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Braulio Rubio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. After 28 played minutes, Club Atletico Juan XXIII's Elvio Gartzen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Natalio Nicholas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Juan XXIII reached it. Club Atletico Juan XXIII's Braulio Rubio got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Braulio Rubio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Braulio Rubio sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Jeremias Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Nemesio Savier made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Gelmiro. Club Atletico Juan XXIII's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Iker Cordero took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Gelmiro. Rafael Gelmiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 44 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Juan XXIII's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Dolfo came free, but Rafael Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Cordero in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Dolfo was the one to do the kick off. Rafael Gelmiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iker Cordero in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Braulio Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Juan XXIII's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Rubio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Atletico Juan XXIII's Braulio Rubio got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natalio Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Rubio in the 63rd minute of the match. Amado Innocenzio was slow to take the kick. During this time Velez FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Amado Innocenzio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atletico Juan XXIII's Rafael Gelmiro did a great save. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Erasmo Dolfo took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Rafael Gelmiro to make any attempt to save it. Rafael Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Rubio in the 88th minute of play forced Velez FC's goalkeeper Natalio Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Club Atletico Juan XXIII's Braulio Rubio made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natalio Nicholas was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Club Atletico Juan XXIII getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Elvio Gartzen hit a great ball. Rafael Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Dolfo in the 97th minute of the match. 99 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Juan XXIII's goalkeeper Rafael Gelmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Cordero. The Club Atletico Juan XXIII supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Velez FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Velez FC.
