Alvaro Bakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Isidro Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Escobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Semeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balbastro's goalkeeper Isidro Espiridion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osvaldo Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Espiridion having to interfere. The supporters of Yaretayo booed when Balbastro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Sazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Balbastro's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Bakar came free, but Isidro Espiridion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alvaro Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Medina hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Bakar made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Balbastro's zone, Ismael Tomi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Espiridion came out of the goal and Ismael Tomi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregorio Semeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Balbastro got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Umea. With a little luck, Balbastro's Isidro Espiridion got control of the ball when Osvaldo Veronica tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match, Alvaro Bakar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isidro Espiridion saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Veronica got free with Isidro Espiridion in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albino Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Guillermo Escobar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
