Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Cordero in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Seme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30thth minute of the game Gonzalo Esdras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A. C. Real Borbotones's Ramon Hitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Flavio Cordero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Seme was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Sebastian Toribio kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Flavio Cordero made a precise shot to the right of Genaro Seme. But to his dismay, Flavio Cordero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Genaro Seme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cordero in the 89th minute of play. Emanuel Enekoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Seme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Enekoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. If Cecilio Formerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over A. C. Real Borbotones could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Porteño throughout the match.
