Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 140) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rigoberto Oskarbi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Martin Elorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Roberto Inautzi made a huge save. After a rather tough play, SAN MIGUEL's Isidro Olentzaro got a free kick in the 4th minute. Fabio Fonso came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN MIGUEL's Rigoberto Oskarbi. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Oskarbi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute, Martin Elorri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roberto Inautzi. The goal made the score 1-1. Martin Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Inautzi having to interfere. Xeneize's Maximino Vasco got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Fonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Oskarbi in the 23rd minute of the match. If Isidro Olentzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Xeneize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Vasco to maneuver through the defense. SAN MIGUEL's Rigoberto Oskarbi got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Fonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Oskarbi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Martin Elorri made the kick off in the second half. SAN MIGUEL's Roberto Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Elorri in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Jimeno Edorta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Fonso having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Xeneize's Clemente Quentin got a free kick in the 74th minute. Fabio Fonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Caetano in the 79th minute of the match. With a little luck, Xeneize's Fabio Fonso got control of the ball when Rigoberto Oskarbi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xeneize's Fabio Fonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Xeneize from getting a goal against them. After 88 minutes Xeneize's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isidro Olentzaro who took care of the corner kick. SAN MIGUEL's Isidro Olentzaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabio Fonso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Xeneize's Fabio Fonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Xeneize from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Xeneize's Maximino Vasco got a free kick in the 95th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Rigoberto Oskarbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN MIGUEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Oskarbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Fonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SAN MIGUEL players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
