In the 24th match minute, Liverpool de Rosario AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Egoi to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Herminio Ignado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Ignado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calzada AFC's Apolo Ignazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Domiku in the 34th minute of play. Elias Cordara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Ignazio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Silverio Weterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Ignado was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Augusto Rosalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silverio Weterio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Calzada AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Arnau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 64th minute Leo Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Domiku in the 66th minute of play forced Calzada AFC's goalkeeper Apolo Ignazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Cirilo Jaen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 played minutes Liverpool de Rosario AFC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Oriche. Leandro Felo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. The Liverpool de Rosario AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Calzada AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
