In the 3rd match minute, Goyena AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eate to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Santos Matro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florencio Martxel. Goyena AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Matro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Florencio Martxel was a little too slow when Maximino Playo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Goyena AFC's zone, Maximino Playo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Martxel came out of the goal and Maximino Playo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Goyena AFC's Florencio Martxel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Goyena AFC from getting a goal against them. Murphy AFC's John-Edvin Skjærvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Henry in the 41st minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Isaias Elequemedo made the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Luis Jusepe put in a rough tackle. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Goyena AFC! Florencio Martxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Teodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John-Edvin Skjærvik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Henry in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Murphy AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Rene Astrada hit a great ball. John-Edvin Skjærvik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Pacorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Murphy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Eutropio to maneuver through the defense. Guido Henry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Virgilio Chuse in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Murphy AFC's Maximino Playo. If Angelino Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murphy AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Goyena AFC for a fine match.
