Spectators: 6636 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ciro Tino got the match started through his kick off. Ciro Tino scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Atauri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute, Claudio Oinatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Leonel Pacifico fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria FC's protests and gave Leonel Pacifico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Pacifico to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Roberto Aragones fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 18th minute, Ciro Tino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Candelaria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Tino in the 20th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Gilberto Atauri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Candelaria FC's Ciro Tino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Atauri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, Ciro Tino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Candelaria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Tigre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Pacorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Atauri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Christobal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Atauri came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria FC's Ciro Tino. But to his dismay, Ciro Tino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Aragones to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Ciro Tino notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Tigre's Gilberto Atauri. Gilberto Atauri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the game, Ciro Tino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Gilberto Atauri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Benito Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Candelaria FC's Fernan Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Aragones in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Tino got free with Gilberto Atauri in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the game, Armando Nesto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilberto Atauri. Armando Nesto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Benito Cordeal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tigre's zone, Benito Cordeal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Atauri came out of the goal and Benito Cordeal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Tino got free with Gilberto Atauri in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Tigre's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Christobal came free, but Gilberto Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Tino got free with Gilberto Atauri in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tigre's Gilberto Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Christobal in the 93rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Teo Vito put in a rough tackle. In the 96th match minute, Tigre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Vito to maneuver through the defense. Benito Cordeal, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
