Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dorel Vişoiu started the match with the kick off. Carlos Bizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoran Mitkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Patricio Ostadars short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Cipriano Artaldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo Fortunato's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Ovando came free, but Cipriano Artaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo Fortunato booed when Teodelina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Maju didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Bizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Vişoiu in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Justo Ovando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Artaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Teodelina's goal looked a bit too open when Dorel Vişoiu came free, but Carlos Bizen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Justo Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Artaldo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Patricio Ostadar sent off a good shot on target. Agustin Jon charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Jon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camilo Sidro, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justo Ovando made a kick off. Julio Tauro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Justo Ovando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Bizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Vişoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Ostadar in the 88th minute of play forced Deportivo Fortunato's goalkeeper Cipriano Artaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodelina's Carlos Bizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorel Vişoiu in the 93rd minute of play. Zoran Mitkov struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Carlos Bizen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Fortunato.
