Delmar Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Rosario in the 6th minute of the match. Mariano Urko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Delmar Eliazar was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Erasmo Lopez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erasmo Lopez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Delmar Eliazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Polidori went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Ateneo de la juventud FC's Erasmo Lopez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Delmar Eliazar. Delmar Eliazar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Alexander Polidori scored 4-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmar Eliazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Villa Madero booed when Ateneo de la juventud FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominique Frueh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes Villa Madero got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Resto. Delmar Eliazar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erasmo Lopez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Villa Madero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Iliana to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Orlandus might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Eliazar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimiro Orlandus ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Claude charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dante Claude the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Villa Madero's Dante Claude got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Vladimiro Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Villa Madero getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mateo Ermano hit a great ball. When Haroldo Iliana came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Villa Madero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Iliana couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Iliana was the one to do the kick off. Villa Madero's Delmar Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Rosario in the 51st minute of play. Delmar Eliazar came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ateneo de la juventud FC's Isaias Rosio. But to his dismay, Isaias Rosio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Haroldo Iliana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Rosario in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Ateneo de la juventud FC's Daniel Rosario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmar Eliazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Delmar Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Lopez in the 68th minute of play. Villa Madero's Delmar Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Lopez in the 71st minute of play. Marcelino Resto kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Delmar Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Lopez in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the Villa Madero defense, Anselmo Baladi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmar Eliazar. The Villa Madero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmar Eliazar should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ateneo de la juventud FC had played much better football throughout.
