Agustin Formerio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dionisio Heriberto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Dionisio Heriberto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agustin Formerio. Dionisio Heriberto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When Leonardo Favila fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miraflores AFC's protests and gave Leonardo Favila a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Miraflores AFC's Leonardo Favila got a free kick in the 90th minute. The supporters of Miraflores AFC booed when Ostende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes, Miraflores AFC's Ignacio Tipi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marco Burni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Miraflores AFC reached it. Ostende walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
