Seating: 1635, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Melquiades Mincho kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saguión's goalkeeper Clodoveo Gaizko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Rodio's goalkeeper Daniel Gervaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Araoz. Saguión's Nunez Araoz got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Maximino Virila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saguión's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Virila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Gervaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nunez Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gervaso having to interfere. Melquiades Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Gaizko having to interfere. Melquiades Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Rodio's Daniel Gervaso got control of the ball when Nunez Araoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Gervaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Guillen in the 28th minute of play. If Nunez Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Gervaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Virila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Gervaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Araoz in the 39th minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 44th minute, but Daniel Gervaso got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Rodio hanging dry this time. In the 47th minute Maximino Virila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Nunez Araoz made the kick off in the second half. Rodio's Daniel Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Araoz in the 51st minute of play. If Nunez Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nunez Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Daniel Gervaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Gervaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Guillen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clodoveo Gaizko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Mogel in the 64th minute. The throw-in from Godfredo Cresconio in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Saguión's Lino Etxatxu. After 69 played minutes Saguión got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Guillen. Maximino Virila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Gervaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Rodio's Daniel Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Virila in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rodio's zone, Nunez Araoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Gervaso came out of the goal and Nunez Araoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximino Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gervaso having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Rodio's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Araoz came free, but Daniel Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Maximino Virila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saguión's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Virila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Gervaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vinicio Victoro charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Victoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vinicio Victoro kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. If Nunez Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saguión were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Rodio to leave the ground with a draw.
