Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jimeno Jatsu made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Medanito's Diego Loramendi got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The supporters of Helenio Herrera booed when Medanito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Calixto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jimeno Jatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medanito's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Jatsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Chale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Medanito's Richard Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Venerando in the 16th minute of play. Carmelo Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Chale having to interfere. Vítor Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Helenio Herrera getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vítor Carvalho hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Venerando in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Engström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Engström came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Helenio Herrera's Eulalio Venerando. But to his dismay, Eulalio Venerando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 43 minutes into the match, Medanito's goalkeeper Richard Engström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Venerando.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eulalio Venerando made a kick off. Richard Engström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Venerando's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After 51 minutes, Eulalio Venerando made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Medanito's Richard Engström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Hori might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Engström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Hori ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, Eulalio Venerando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Helenio Herrera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 57 played minutes Medanito got a freekick which was hit by Diego Loramendi. The supporters of Helenio Herrera booed when Medanito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Andryszyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Helenio Herrera's Eulalio Venerando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Engström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Diego Loramendi fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medanito's protests and gave Diego Loramendi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Helenio Herrera booed when Medanito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Loramendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Enrique Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Eulalio Venerando sped through Medanito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Richard Engström. Richard Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Helenio Herrera booed when Medanito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Jatsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Venerando in the 92nd minute of play forced Medanito's goalkeeper Richard Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Medanito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Pagomari to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Helenio Herrera had played much better football throughout.
