An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Gonsalve in the 38th minute of play forced UTDT FF's goalkeeper Ubaldo Gora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Arnoldo Weather got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorio Estavan was the one to do the kick off. The UTDT FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. river plate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
