If Horacio Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mogote 's Leopoldo Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Mager in the 14th minute of play. Cristo Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Orlanda in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Porfiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mogote 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tatay the free kick. The supporters of Tatay booed when Mogote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Mogote fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Mogote 's Jesus Orlanda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arvid Mager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tatay booed when Mogote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Peruanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jesus Orlanda to make the kick off. With a little luck, Mogote 's Leopoldo Igon got control of the ball when Arvid Mager tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luisito Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cristo Cayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rosendo Gregory fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tatay's protests and gave Rosendo Gregory a yellow card for diving instead. Rosendo Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Orlanda in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Cayo saved Tatay from getting behind. Cristo Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Orlanda in the 67th minute of play. Tatay's Cristo Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Egoi in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tatay's zone, Jesus Orlanda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Cayo came out of the goal and Jesus Orlanda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jesus Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Tatay's Arvid Mager made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Igon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leopoldo Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Cordairo in the 88th minute of the match. Jesus Orlanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cristo Cayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tatay's Horacio Cordairo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Luisito Egoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luisito Egoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
