The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Austin during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Piipilinoo F.C getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ovidio Austin hit a great ball. Roberto Iztal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clodoveo Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piipilinoo F.C. The audience was convinced that Roberto Iztal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raphael Prado was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Daniel Errapel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Raphael Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piipilinoo F.C's Raphael Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Merexildo in the 37th minute of play. Raphael Prado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Errapel's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Jesus Domiku charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesus Domiku the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cangrejilla's Jesus Domiku got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Clodoveo Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Dino in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Piipilinoo F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Errapel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The supporters of Cangrejilla booed when Piipilinoo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Manex didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Roberto Iztal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cangrejilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2.
