Claudio Sampo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermengildo Bingen hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Claudio Sampo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andrés Guardado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Jakobe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Sampo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Sampo in the 25th minute of play forced Villa Constitucion F.C.'s goalkeeper Melquiades Jakobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Andrés Guardado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrés Guardado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Bingen charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermengildo Bingen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX booed when Villa Constitucion F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Bingen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Mendebal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Jakobe. Villa Constitucion F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Guaberto Mendebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Constitucion F.C. the free kick. After 35 played minutes Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Mendebal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Iigo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Villa Constitucion F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Iigo to maneuver through the defense. Cosme Iban's late challenge caught a Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Iban helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Villa Constitucion F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Iban. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrés Guardado couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Andrés Guardado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Jakobe was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. If Andrés Guardado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX may have spent more time on the ball, but Villa Constitucion F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
