Venancio Conrao came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX's Godofredo Aresti. But to his dismay, Godofredo Aresti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Guaberto Mendebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfredo Regis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Favila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonardo Astrada kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Abelardo Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Godfredo Regis made a huge save. In the 38th play minute Abelardo Barros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Godfredo Regis. 1-1. Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX's Godfredo Regis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrés Guardado to strike the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Regis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Lehoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Panpili came free, but Godfredo Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Aresti struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Venancio Conrao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX. In the 65th match minute, Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Panpili in the 68th minute of play forced Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX's goalkeeper Godfredo Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Regis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrés Guardado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Venancio Conrao 81 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Andrés Guardado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrés Guardado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Conrao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Guaberto Mendebal came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Mendebal couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Lionel Cubas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Joÿstïck Futbol Club XXX would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
