The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of LOS PURA MAGIA FC booed when Venado Tuerto F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Ibon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, LOS PURA MAGIA FC's goalkeeper Cathal Martyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siro Vedillo. Antonis Portoulidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Cresencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Siro Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cathal Martyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siro Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cathal Martyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cathal Martyn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Remigio Ibon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. The supporters of Venado Tuerto F.C booed when LOS PURA MAGIA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roque Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cathal Martyn having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cathal Martyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cathal Martyn came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Venado Tuerto F.C's Augusto Sandaili. But to his dismay, Augusto Sandaili quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Pascual Cresencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonis Portoulidis having to interfere. Cathal Martyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Vedillo in the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, LOS PURA MAGIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Vedillo came free, but Cathal Martyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venado Tuerto F.C's Siro Vedillo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Siro Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Sandaili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cathal Martyn having to interfere. Arsenio Martinez hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Siro Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venado Tuerto F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Vedillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cathal Martyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Venado Tuerto F.C had played much better football throughout.
