Celestino Austin kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Fabio Loco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cochinoca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Loco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Farias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atalaya's Ruperto Farias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Atalaya from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Fausto Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Casado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Ruperto Farias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Loco in the 37th minute of play forced Atalaya's goalkeeper Ruperto Farias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atalaya's Ruperto Farias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Atalaya from getting a goal against them. Atalaya's Ruperto Farias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Cesaro in the 42nd minute of play. Marcos Casado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ruperto Farias made a huge save. With a little luck, Atalaya's Ruperto Farias got control of the ball when Saturnino Cesaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alfredo Quintyn made the kick off in the second half. Ruperto Farias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Casado went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Marcos Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Saturnino Cesaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Farias was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ruperto Farias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Goyo in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Atalaya's Fausto Ihintza seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fausto Ihintza the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atalaya protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fausto Ihintza had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 74th minute, Fausto Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruperto Farias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Paez in the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Atalaya defense, Paulino Goyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Farias. The Atalaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Farias should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Atalaya's Inocencio Baladi got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ruperto Farias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Guerrero during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Cochinoca FC's zone, Alfredo Quintyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Eladio came out of the goal and Alfredo Quintyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
